Intersta Application / Company (hereinafter referred to as “We”, “Us”, “Company”, “Intersta” or the “Application”) undertakes to respect the privacy of your own data. Our Privacy Policy, that is approved by our side shall apply to all personal information collected by or provided to us, including all personal information collected or provided through our websites or available on any mobile sites, applets and other interactive mobile features through our official social media pages that we control, and in this Notice – Data Privacy Notice – “you” or “your” shall be used to refer to the relevant persons of clients, customers, subscribers or visitors of the portal whose personal data shall be processed by Intersta App.
This Privacy Notice shall tell you who we are, how we collect, share and use personal data related to your kind person, and the way you can exercise your data privacy rights. The details of the personal data to be processed and the method under which it will be used will depend, on a large basis, on the services for which a request has been made or agreed upon. By providing personal information to us, you agree to this policy’s terms & conditions.
When do we collect your personal data?
You can provide us with data of your own identity or your phone number by the way of filling out the forms or contacting us on the phone, email, or otherwise. This shall include collecting your own personal data through the following:
- Your interactions with us, such as the emails you forward, other correspondence, in addition to instructions forwarded by your kind persons to us.
- Submitting your comments and suggestions.
- Filling out forms, such as those forms related to private groups or public ones, contributions, studies and researches.
- Sharing your personal data by providing us with your identifying data so that members who share your interests or hobbies can know your person.
- When you interact with us on the social media platforms such as Facebook, X, YouTube, etc.

- By your own use of the application: When you download an application or use it, we and our service providers can track data of the application usage, such as the time and date of access of the application installed on your device and collect such data to our servers in addition to the information and files downloaded on the application depending on your device number.
- Through you: Information such as your birth date, gender, and zip code, in addition to other information, such as means of communication preferred to you, such information may be collected when you provide this information voluntarily.
- Through geographical location: We may collect information about your device’s geographical location.
What personal data do we collect?
We can collect, hold and use the following categories of your personal data:
- Identity data: ID number, full name, username, age, address, gender, nationality, birth date, in addition to the hobbies and interests that you share.
- Data of Contact and communication: email address, phone numbers, communication number, information about the browser and used device, and the social media account such as: Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, and X.
- Technical data: Tracking the number of times you visit the portal and use it. We do this act by tracking electronic cookies and the like tracking technologies.
- Profile data: profile picture, your identifying data, user interests and password.
- Usage data: Information about the way you use our portal, products and services, and about items you choose and view on the portal and mobile phone.
- Regarding private group officials: Each one of the private group officials will be required to provide the administration of the application with the details of their bank account data or IBAN number.
How and Why do we use your personal data?
We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to do the same. We will use your personal data in the following cases and circumstances:
- To respond to your inquiries and fulfill your requests, such as sending you newsletters or answering your questions and responding to your own feedbacks and comments.
- To forward administrative information to you, such as information related to the sites and amendments made to our terms, conditions, and policies. Whereas this information may be important for your use of the sites, accordingly you cannot stop receiving such messages.
- To provide you with an opportunity to contact other users and receive calls or communications from them through the sites, as provided by the site in use.

We may also share, with our marketing partners, the geographic location of your own device in addition to information about the advertisements you have viewed, and other information that we have already collected, in order to enable the partners to provide content that better suits you and to study the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
- As we deem appropriate and necessary: (a) to meet and fulfil legal requirements, regulations and standards, including applicable penal laws, (b) to adhere to legal requirements, (c) to respond to requests received from public and governmental authorities, including public and governmental authorities outside your country of residence, (d) to enforce our terms and conditions, (e) to let us follow up our corrective actions and limit the damages that we may sustain.
- It is necessary to process your personal data for reasons of fundamental public interest, police or government authorities on a legal basis.
- When this is necessary for our legitimate interests or third-party interests provided that such interests do not surpass your interests and main rights.
- Based on your clear and explicit consent, and due to the need to protect your interests.
How do we protect your own personal data?
We adopt reasonable regulatory, technical and administrative procedures in order to protect the personal information that we collect and process while they are in our own possession. Much of the information reaches us by the way of receiving them, in an electronical manner, from your devices, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that any data transmission over the Internet or any data storage system is completely secure.
If you have any reason driving you to believe that your activity with us is no longer secure (for example, if you feel that the security of any account you have with us has been compromised), kindly report us, immediately, about the problem by contacting us, immediately, in accordance to the form provided in the “Contact Us” section.
How long will we keep your own personal data?
We will only keep your data for as long as we need it, for the reasons we obtained it for, and then we will either delete it or anonymize it so that it can no longer be associated with you. We are also required, by law, to keep our basic customers information, including data of contact and identity data for the period of (10) Ten years after they stopped being customers.

It is important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and up to date.

This policy does not deal with the privacy, information or practices of any other third parties, including any third party operating any site available through links included in the Intersta application, and we do not accept any responsibility in this regard. The inclusion of a link on the Intersta application does not imply approval by us or by our affiliates of the linked site. Kindly note that any information you provide through the use of this functionality is subject to the third party’s privacy policy, not to our own privacy policy.
Therefore, we have no control over any third party’s use of the information you provide through the use of this functionality nor be held responsible for the same.
Also, we are not responsible for the data collection, use, and disclosure policies and practices (including data security practices) of other organizations such as Facebook, Apple, Google, Microsoft, or any other application developer, application provider, social media platform provider, operating system provider, wireless service provider or device manufacturer, including any personal information you disclose to other organizations through or in connection with the Applications or social media pages.
Privacy Policy Updates
We may make changes to this policy. Therefore, you are kindly requested to have look at the “Last Updated” button at the beginning of this page to know when this Policy was last revised.
Any changes we may make to the Privacy Policy will be effective from the moment the revised Privacy Policy is posted on the Application. Your use of the application after making these changes means that you agree to the revised privacy protection policy.
Also, the company owning the application will publish the privacy policy on the electronic portal of the application in both Arabic and English, and in the event of a conflict or contradiction between the Arabic text and the English one, the text in Arabic will prevail.
